About Us
About Us
Human Securitology was founded in 2019 to deliver culturally relevant personal security and self-management training and solve practical problems of human behaviour and experience, where teachings can be studied, and implemented.
Our aim is to empower people, provide a greater understanding of human behaviour and personal security for improved self-management, and equip those in roles of influence to assist their clients, and/or positively influence others.
Studying Human Securitology allows people to identify their wants, needs, aspirations, and behaviours, which when explored can help to resolve inconsistencies that undermine peoples intentions.
Human Securitologists can help people improve their decision making, metal and physical well-being, stress and anxiety management, and overall performance by considering their teachings of how people can make positive change and improvement in their lives, through heightened self-awareness and personal growth.

The learning years
Jake holds an MSc in Security Management and is also a university graduate in Education, Law (CUBS), and Sports Management.
Jake has studied the social and behavioural sciences for over twenty years including modern applied psychology, forensic psychology, and philosophy. In addition, he has studied other expressions of applied psychology such as psychotherapy, NLP, CBT, life coaching, and PTSD identification.
Jake felt there was a gap in the delivery of these subjects and believed that understanding the foundations of modern psychology and personal security could help to improve mental, and physical security and thus overall health.
By teaching and mentoring others, and through personal experience, Jake quickly realised that feeling and being safe and secure played a large part in overcoming anxiety and stress, and maintaining a healthy work/home balance.
Jake believes that Integrating modern psychology principles, personal security strategies, and valuable life experience into relevant practice is an essential part of accelerating overall mental and physical wellness and personal and professional growth and development.
